Sociogram
What is a sociogram?
A sociogram is a diagram in which resembles the relationships within a social group or working environment.
What different things can we see from a sociogram?
The circles:
The size of the circles can represent the importance of the person in relation to the group.
The lines:
With sociograms you can personalise them to be able to show different types of relations. So for example you could have a red line in which resembles a complication within the relationship or they dislike each other. You can also have lines to show who gets along with each other.
The positioning:
The positioning of these circles can show what different cliques form within the social/work environment. This can be useful as you can see more easily who to put together in a group. Also the positioning of the circles can represent either distance (either literally or they are maybe isolated).
You can see who the leader in a sociagram is by either the size of the circle in which they are in, the amount of arrows in which a positivly pointing towards that person. You can see who isolates them self or maybe who is a more argumentative person by how many people dislike them.
